On April 1, in the U.S. medical insurance providers will stop paying for some prescriptions they deem unnecessary. Most seniors drugs will be covered however many insurers will be gradually trying to move customers into buying less expensive and/or generic drugs that can save the insurance providers money. As an advance notice insurance providers will be sending a letter to their customers telling them if their drug will be covered.
What can you do if your drug is not covered by your insurance company anymore?
The quick solution obviously is to pay full price at your local pharmacy but for those that can't afford their medication, the easy answer is to order from a trusted Canadian pharmacy. In most cases a Canadian pharmacy will save you 50% on average and will carry the same brand name or generics drugs that your local pharmacy carries.
